TÜV AUSTRIA Belgium featured in “Kan ik het ook?” 

TÜV AUSTRIA Belgium was recently featured on VTM’s “Kan ik het ook?”, where we provided an inside look at the meticulous safety inspections conducted at Bobbejaanland. The episode showcased how our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) experts ensure amusement park rides meet the highest safety standards. 

What we demonstrated 

During the broadcast, our specialists conducted safety assessments on Bobbejaanland’s roller coasters, focusing on metal fatigue, weld integrity, and structural stability. Using advanced radiography, ultrasound, and 3D imaging, we demonstrated how NDT techniques help detect potential defects without damaging the rides. 

Eric Cruyweegs and Niels Vanwinkel, NDT experts at TÜV AUSTRIA Belgium, guided presenter Cynthia Reekmans through key inspection techniques, illustrating the precision and expertise required to keep amusement park attractions safe and operational.
