About the speakers
After studying economics, Thomas Doms worked for more than 20 years in various management positions in international companies such as Raab Karcher, TÜV Rheinland and T-Systems in the areas of business development, innovation management as well as IT strategy and information security.
In addition, he was involved in the development of an Internet start-up as COO and advised companies for several years as a management consultant on strategic development and successful repositioning in their markets. At the TÜV AUSTRIA Group, he has been Principal Information Security Consultant and external CISO for major international customers since 2017 and also Head of Digital Business Development.
For more than 15 years, he has been responsible as a consultant for a wide variety of projects at technical and C-level in the areas of IT, information security, AI, digitalization as well as data protection and compliance. Under his leadership, the world’s first audit catalog for AI applications was created. He is also a member of various working groups (including the TIC Council, Walbrook Accord, TÜV Association, BSI and Fraunhofer) on the topic of Trustworthy AI.
Since 2023, he is Global Product Lead AI Services in the TÜV Austria Group and Managing Director of TRUSTIFAI GmbH, the first Austrian AI certification and qualification hub.
Xaver-Paul Stadlbauer completed his Statistics studies in Vienna and has been employed as a Data Scientist since 2018. Initially, he spent three years within the R&D division of Siemens AG Österreich, where he developed numerous applications in the field of energy and grid operations.
Since joining TÜV Austria Data Intelligence in 2021, Xaver has led and contributed to several projects in the areas of machine learning, AI and operational research. In particular, Xaver was involved in the development of a certificate for trustworthy AI and AI management systems. He is now an auditor for AI product and AI management system certification for TRUSTIFAI GmbH.
With over two decades of experience in the IT industry, Kurt Neuskens has dedicated his career to explore and advance business intelligence and data analytics. His extensive background includes a specialization in qualitative data applications, overseeing the implementation of both descriptive and predictive analytics. He has contributed his expertise to organizations such as Eurofins Digital Testing, InnoEnergy, and UZLeuven.
Kurt Neuskens is highly skilled in the use of artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on large language models, which positions him to adeptly navigate the evolving landscape of AI technologies. In recent years, his responsibilities have broadened to include the management of AI-driven projects, reinforcing his solid foundation in AI governance and practical application. Additionally, he is an accredited trainer for ISTQB (International Software Testing Quality Board) AI tester.
In 2024, Kurt Neuskens joined TÜV Austria Belgium as the head of the Digital Intelligence and Innovation department. In this role, he leads the delivery of TÜV’s digital service portfolio across the Benelux region, driving innovation and excellence in digital intelligence solutions.
