Selecting the right coating and ensuring correct application is a critical process closely monitored by our customers. To guarantee coating performance and durability, TÜV AUSTRIA Belgium supports the development of a structured quality control and testing program.

If no predefined program is available, we develop a tailor-made approach aligned with your specific requirements and application.

Development of a tailored test program

When defining a coating test program, several key parameters are considered:

• Environmental conditions
  The operating environment determines the selection of appropriate tests, including specific coating tests and (cyclic) climate testing.
• Test criteria and standards
  Customer-specific requirements or international standards (such as ISO 12944) define acceptance criteria.
• Design and dimensions of the product
  Depending on the application, testing can be performed on the final product or on representative test panels.
